Evidence-backed research

Answers you can check, source by source.

GTSpy helps organizations answer a defined question about a person, an organization or an event. Every finding carries its source, the date it was observed and how it was verified, so a conclusion can be defended rather than simply repeated.

How GTSpy works

Research starts with a question and a reason, not with a name typed into a search box. This is how the product is designed to work; the section after it says what is open today.

  1. Define the case

Record the purpose, the subject and the limits of the research: dates, places, languages and budget. Nothing runs without a case and an authorized purpose.

  2. Choose what comes back

Select the kinds of information you need. Permissions, source licenses and policy decide what may be collected, and choices that are not available are explained before any work starts.

  3. Review the evidence

Findings arrive with the exact source passage, dates, verification history, conflicts and gaps. A possible match stays possible until a person reviews it.

  4. Keep what you rely on

Downloads are designed to work offline, with the sources and the hashes that let you check them later.

Built for careful work

  • Purpose first

Every case records why the research is being done, and that purpose limits what is collected, shown and exported.

  • Uncertainty in plain words

GTSpy says what the evidence supports and what it does not. A ranking is never presented as a probability, and a score never verifies a person.

  • People approve sensitive steps

Contact research needs a reviewer’s approval for a specific case, person, set of fields, budget and expiry.

  • Separate by design

Each client’s cases are kept apart in the application and in the database, and access is recorded.

  • No outreach

GTSpy never contacts the people it researches, or anyone else on your behalf.

  • English and Spanish

The service is designed for both languages, with original passages kept beside any translation.
